Viewpoint of the Templars

The viewpoint of the Templars is located on the most narrow part of the National Nature Reserve of the Ardeche Gorges. From there, you get an overview of the river and you can see the kayaks of all colors that go down the Ardeche. The view is the main attraction. The road measures a total of 45 kilometers and has various viewpoints. At some of these viewpoints, you can go to the water's edge. Camping is not allowed in the natural park, but there are several campsites nearby. They are located in the village of Vallon Pont d'Arc, after Bourg Saint ANDEOL. The view is beautiful, mountains are quite low, we went in May when the thaw had irrigated the valley, so everything looked quite lush and green.
