Villa of Tigellio

Moving away from the center of the city, you will reach the Villa di Tigellio, the ruins of a Roman suburb of II century AD. It was thought that Tigellio, Latin poet of the time of Emperor Augustus, had lived in this neighborhood, hence the name.
