A private house
Villa Georgette is actually a private house, it's kind of bungalow on 3 floors with a granite and tile facade, wrought iron balconies and a nice porch with historic tiles. It's on the central Avenida Mouzinho Albuquerque, which I just discovered was created in 1891 at the initiative of David Alves for the formation of a specially dedicated area for bathers who came to spend the summer in Póvoa. Of the mansions and elegant buildings on this street that were built in the early twentieth century, only 3 remain, Villa Georgette being one of them.
