Virgin of Monsalud Hermitage

This beautiful chapel is located high above the village. The building dates from the sixteenth century and consists of two naves separated by arches. The covers are made of wood. The main room is hexagonal shaped and baroque style, with the image of the patron. On the front you can see the porch with three arches and the steeple. The altarpiece has a baroque style of the mid-twentieth century and was placed in the chapel in 1957. The Chapel suffered much damage and looting during the civil war of 1936, when many carvings and paintings were lost. Also lost were the public Cross and the Via Crucis,
