World Friendship Center hotel

Looking for cheap accommodation in Hiroshima, I found this fantastic place. It's run by an American couple who are very friendly and nice. They only have few rooms (if I remember correctly, three) and a shared bathroom. I was in a group of three people and therefore we were lucky that we had a room to ourselves. In any case, the atmosphere of the place was very nice. A delicious and varied breakfast was included. They also offer a range of activities such as guided tours. In terms of location, it is a little out of the center (the main station is quite far to walk) and across the river but on the web there are directions to reach it by public transport (there is a tram stop very close).
