1 review of Yoshimi Hyakuana Tombs

Tomb on a hill that dates back to 1300

It is about 50km north of Tokyo in Saitama. It is a 126 Cunjunto tomb on a hill that dates back 1300 - 1400 years ago. In a building there are many artifacts of the time such as dishes, pots, accessories. there is also "Magatama", a village that lived thousands of years ago in the area and the which also whose reuins were found. In some of the tombs grew bright moss which is hard to see in the Kanto area and is protected by the government. Below the tombs there are 3 caves 500m long and 3m in diameter excavated in WWII, inside which served as a weapons factory and aircraft engines. In the next building you can see some photos of the early 20th century well preserved in which, of course, these caves are not reflected (or faux holes that were built close).
