There's everything you could imagine and more
The souk is in the Medina of Monastir, from the seventeenth century, surrounded by merlon walls. Our friend was born there, so everyone knew him, and when he returns to the village it is as if he were the prodigal son. We went to all the shops, cafes ... We spent a whole day in the souk, even though we'd only gone to find my friends' hire car. It was very animated and I felt very safe although the sellers were very annoying,
so you go into the shops, see everything and of course, you buy it. In the end I was tired of haggling, and its insistence, but you get used to. The mixture of odors and flavors is amazing.
