After ten stays in this hotel, it is surely one of our favorites. You should stay here if you travel to italy, austria, slovenia, croatia, hungary, Lyon or French Alps. Do not hesitate for a moment to reserve a night in this hotel, but keep in mind that it is usually full, so make your reservation as far in advance as poissble. Located just outside of the city in a huge business park, it is surrounded by restaurants and department stores. In addition to seeing again virtually everything we know by heart, for dinner, we enjoyed a good pate and extraordinary mussels in any of the restaurants that are in the area of the amphitheater. If you go by car to the center do not worry about parking as there is a large public park in the Place de la Libération justa few meters from there amphitheater called Arena. The hotel has very spacious rooms, good reception, summer terrace for breakfast or lunch as well as swimming. There is also a vast parking enclosure.
As I crossed the doorstep I realized it was a magical place that was hiding something spectacular and I had to find out what the secret was. It is small, but the great feeling that accompanies you there is enormous. It is certainly not a "factory-made" place (so to speak) but is carefully detailed, taken from a story (except for the pictures of bulls and bullfighters Spanish) that decorates the walls. I highly recommend that if you do not know where to escape or retreat that you go there. Also Nîmes is a beautiful town to visit while you are there.

Located in a suburban area, where there are many restaurants and shopping centres, making it a great spot for the major routes coming in and out of Nimes. The complex is new, well-kept, and clean. The common areas are great, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. There is laundry service and breakfast available for a fee. The apartments are equipped with all the modern comforts for a few days, with a functional kitchen and a spacious bathroom. The internet is free in the rooms with a cable, and wireless in the lobby.
We stayed here from 3 to 4 August, 2007, on our trip to Hungary. The Novotel Atria is located in central Nimes, on Liberation Square, only 300 metres from the famous amphitheatre. Perhaps being so central can make you feel a bit uncomfortable, as it's difficult to drive around the area. The facilities are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is great, but the parking is bad enough that I have to say we prefer the Mercure Nimes Quest.
