This NH four star hotel offers 129 rooms in an enormous building that's well-connected with many buses and right next to the center.
It's very recommendable because of its decor, location and for having a bus stop right below that takes you everywhere. It includes day trips that leave from Sienna from different points in Tuscany (the hotel has information about them), they have the same departure point in the square.
It's not great that one person has to stay for two consecutive days, and that you have to pay for internet in your room (I always say this, it should be a free service), or that they don't speak Spanish, but overall it's a modern, functional hotel and very recommendable.
The Hotel Athena in the beautiful city of Sienna is an excellent option for visiting the city. It has very comfortable, well-equipped rooms. This hotel has spectacular views of the city's mountains. Given the fact that it's in the historical center of the city, it has the proximity to the most important sights in the city, like the Cathedral and the Piazza del Campo.
When visiting Tuscany there is nothing better than staying in a cottage which is well located and near a good road which allows you to visit the local towns. We found ours, called Casa Gavignano via the agency "Casa Tuscany Holidays AG", which I have to say gives first service and assistance. Managed by Antonio Secchiano, the agency has a website (info@casa-toscana-ag.Com) where you can choose the cottage that best suits your travel expectations. My first choice was wrong because it was not what I expected. However, Antonio Secchiano then found me an alternative to better suit my needs at no extra charge and with great kindness. I am very grateful for the treatment and care provided. I recommend that you rate this review in "minube" in order to prove it, and so that a great number of other users can find it. Returning to the Gavignano House, I will say that it´s very close to the town called Poggibonsi, about 2 Km away. This little town is not significantly pretty or touristic, but you can easily do your shopping at a large supermarket, which is stocked with everything you need for your holidays. Gavignano House is managed by Franco Valacchi and his wife, a lovely couple who try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Italian Franco is a very caring person and always willing to help with whatever you need. Recently refurbished and with a number of apartments, the privacy of the home is complete. It has a pool, parking, solarium etc. You can see these and other services on its website or in "Casa Tuscany Holidays". It is a lost corner. From there you can visit wonderful cities such as Volterra, Siena, San Gimignano and the Chianti, to give some examples. I highly recommend it. Thanks to Franco and Antonio, they made my holiday in Tuscany unforgettable.
The Soggiorno Lo Stellino is a wonderful hotel located in the beautiful city of Siena in the Italian province of Tuscany. It has a unique charm, with just fifteen rooms, all recently refurbished, at great prices in a central location with good public transport connections.
Siena is a walled city built in the hills, so there are lots of ups and downs. It's a true trip back in time! It's known for the famous Palio di Siena, a horse race that takes place in July and August in Piazza del Campo, a square is in the heart of the city surrounded by bars and restaurants. It's an ideal place to enjoy a good glass of Chianti, the regional specialty. The city has a number of good hotels. When I was there, I opted for comfort and location and chose the Hotel Santa Caterina. It's a few meters from the Porta Romana and has comfortable rooms, a friendly staff and a breakfast that's above average for Italian hotels in this price range. Plus, the hotel has a beautiful terrace with a great garden and lovely views of the Tuscan landscapes. A single room costs about 65 euros and doubles go for 85.
Villa Peregnola is a Bed & Breakfast in the beautiful city of Siena. We found it completely by chance and they treated us like royalty! The decor is great and the Tuscan atmosphere is just magical. It's an ideal place to relax and there are plenty of romantic walks you can take in the surrounding area. In short, a real treat...perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends or your significant other.
Beautiful tourist complex in Casole d'Elsa, Sienna. Ideal for those traveling with children, very close to the best of Tuscany.
Nice treatment and relaxation assured.
It's worth it, without a doubt.
This apartment is recommended if you are visitng Siena, it is located practically just behind Piazza il Campo and within the Tower contrada. A fully equipped apartment (with kitchen, bathroom, and air conditioning) and a decent price considering the accommodation in Italy. Giovanni helped us a lot with which places to visit and the places to eat, which makes the stay more enjoyable. We were only there for two days but we would go back during a future visit to Siena.
For those that want to spend a quiet and relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can not miss this cozy hotel. It´s location is a dream: in Roio Piano, a village near the town of L'Aquila, Italy, near the National Park Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga.

This lovely property is located on a beautiful hill surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, and it´s only about 5 miles away from the center of Siena, near the main attractions of the city. The rooms are decorated and painted in white and light colors, and they are fully equipped. The prices match the location.
