Our stay at the Hotel Palacio Ca Sa Welsh was amazing! The hotel is a palace full of artwork. I remember seeing pictures by Miró and Monet! And it's right in the middle of Palma's old town, which is an unbeatable location. The terrace is really impressive with views of the Cathedral and the sea. One night, we even ate dinner there while enjoying the nice weather and the views. The staff was very helpful at all times and made great recommendations of places to visit. Despite the price, this hotel is worth visiting at least once in your life!
2.0 It is the quintessential hotel in Palma, not only does it have one of the best services on the network through their social networking accounts, but they also have a large meeting room with WIFI to be able to host press conferences and congresses. Also in summer, the hotel swimming pool is perfect for organizing a fashion show or any other event.
Here are the pictures of a 3-star hotel that is situated on the second line of Puerto de Palma. There are great views from upstairs of the mountains and the Belver Castle. It certainly is a three star hotel, but is almost a four for the price - which is more than good. Very close to the harbor, the old town and the nightlife district. I recommend it.
The rooms are spacious, clean and air-conditioned (it's very hot in summer). In addition, there's also a pool and spa (the price was 10 € but if you go between 15h and 16h it's 5 €). The breakfast is spectacular ... It's a buffet and you choose from a variety of fruits, cereals, toast or something stronger like bacon with fried eggs ... We feel like a bit of everything .... On the next street is the bus stop that goes to the center(takes 5 minutes) and a couple of blocks away (about 5 minutes away) is the bus stop to the airport . The downsides ... Well, that is far from the beach (not walkable) and the center is also too far away to go out to dinner.
It's a classic hotel and I would say that it's mythical in this town. Conveniently located in a quiet area but within walking distance of the station and the old town. It has an incredibly friendly and professional staff, and a varied breakfast. The small spa area in the basement is used for relaxation, and the detail of champagne and chocolates upon learning it's your birthday is a nice touch. We'll be back.
This magnificent hotel is housed in a 17th Century mansion, situated in the Port of Soller, just 2 minutes away from the beach. There is an outdoor pool with a nice terrace and a bar restaurant and an indoor pool with Spa, which also offers Thalassotherapy treatments. We stayed in a superior double room which was fully equipped and had a terrace overlooking the hotel's gardens. It´s a place to get away and relax, with abundant vegetation in the garden and very peaceful. We had lodging and breakfast as we had booked dinner at a restaurant, and there was a lunch deal in Port de Sóller. The breakfast buffet was very good. Highly recommended, to relax and to visit the Tramuntana mountain range.
If you have a special occasion in mind, or you want to truly spoil yourself and your partner, I recommend this spectacular luxury hotel in Deia, which is one of the most sophisticated on the Tramontana coast of Mallorca. The La Residencia Hotel is just perfect. Despite its sophistication, it has a relaxed style, in keeping with the atmosphere of Deia and beach life in general. The hotel is made up of two manor houses that date back to the 16th and 17th centuries and have been carefully restored. The halls and rooms are tastefully decorated with antiques and local fabrics.
In the magical and romantic setting of the Cape Formentor, you can find the Barceló Formentor. The hotel is surrounded by gardens and boasts facilities such as swimming pools, tennis courts, sauna, mini golf, childrens club, boutique and outdoor parking. From here you can access the two magnificant beaches of Cala Figuera and Cala Murta
Its interior landscapes are a dream, especially to completely relax.
Protected by the Serra de Tramuntana, Caimari is a little village with a unique flavour. There and around the surroundings live people dedicated, since forever, to the land, with foreigners who have fallen in love with its calmness and the scent of its gardens.
That is what happened to James and Paola, the owners of Es Castell, a wonderful property dotted with extremely old olive trees: they saw it and were completely captivated.
The hotel retains its rustic rural architecture, unpretentious, with a unique flavour. Between so much green and silence one forgets about the car and gets about by bike. One can peddle narrow tracks from Moscari to Binibona, Mancor de la Vall to Selva, Selva to Caimari...
Upon return, James awaits, who bends over backwards to communicate in good Spanish, and Paola, who has been begged to prepare delicious meals from her native Tuscany merged with typical Mediterranean dishes. Imagine house specialty lamb, stuffed tomatoes, seafood crepes with saffron sauce, cheese and potato pie, fresh fish with lemon sauce and, of course, fresh pasta. All served in a fabulous yet casual dining room or by the poolside.
Es Castell has one defect: how hard it is to leave!
This establishment is a beautiful 5 star hotel, situated in the village of Sóller, there is a wooden train practically on your door step, that takes you to the port. It has a spa area, Mediterranean food is served in the restaurant Ca'n Blau, with a nice terrace where you can dine outdoors with a fine wine cellar of the hotel, edgy decor and friendly service. The hotel is set in a beautiful nineteenth century building.
This hotel offers great rooms overlooking the port, I recommend taking a suite which is set on the top floor, as a few years ago there was a restaurant below and it was a bit noisy. You can relax in the sauna or enjoy a drink on the terrace after a swim in the sea, which is directly opposite.
