What to expect

The train from Palma to Sóller will depart from the train station in the center of Palma. There, you'll board this historic wooden train which has been ferrying travelers through the heart of the island for over a century. During the train trip, you'll travel through the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains on a spectacular journey through bridges, tunnels and beautiful landscapes.

After around one hour, you'll arrive in the charming town of Sóller. From there, you can take the tram to arrive at Port de Sóller. Once you arrive, you'll have free time to explore the town, enjoy its beautiful beaches or visit its scenic fishing port.

At the reserved time, you'll heat to the marina to board the boat to Sa Calobra. During the one-hour cruise, you'll enjoy lovely views of the rugged cliffs and secret coves of Mallorca's western coast. An opening in the cliffs and a small cluster of fishermen's homes will let you know that you've arrived at Sa Calobra, one of Mallorca's best-kept secrets.

Once in Sa Calobra, you'll have free time to enjoy its beaches and landscapes. You can swim and snorkel at the sandy Sa Calobra beach, hike the spectacular Torrent de Pareis gorge or visit the beautiful secret beach formed by the gorge's arrival at the sea. The latter is widely considered one of the most spectacular spots on the island and is famous for its crystal-clear water and stunning scenery of towering cliffs and lush pine forests.

At 4:30 in the afternoon, you'll board the boat to return to the Port de Sólle. At 6:30pm, you'll board the wooden train at the Soller train station to begin the beautiful return journey to Palma.
