As the twilight settles over the city, you’ll begin a walking tour of the old city to learn its fascinating history and sample some of its best tapas. Continuing the tour, you’ll visit the Puerta del Sol, one of the original medieval gates of the city, and the Mosque del Cristo de La Luz, built over 1,000 years ago during the Caliphate of Córdoba. Making your way back to Plaza de Zocodover, you’ll stop to try one of Toledo’s most popular dishes: carcamusas, savory stewed pork cooked in a traditional clay pot.
