Toledo Small Group Tour with Farm Visit & Lunch

After meeting your guide at the Plaza de San Miguel in downtown Madrid, you'll board a comfortable van to begin the journey to Toledo. In around one hour, you'll have arrived in this beautiful World Heritage City on the banks of the Tagus River.

Upon arrival, you'll begin a walking tour of Toledo's medieval center to discover its unique mix of Christian, Muslim and Jewish influences which have earned it the name "The City of Three Cultures." During the tour, you'll see the beautiful Santa María la Blanca Synagogue, the Mosque of Cristo de la Luz and the impressive Toledo Cathedral, one of Europe's largest and most stunning Gothic cathedrals.

After the tour, you'll pay a visit a local family farm set in the heart of the Toledo hills. Aboard a 4x4 vehicle, you'll visit the farm's olive groves and vineyards and learn about life on a traditional Spanish farm. You'll also see how the family raises sheep and prestigious Iberico pigs, a breed famed for the quality of their meat.

During the tour, you'll also pay a visit to Conde de Mayalde, a ranch that specializes in raising Spanish fighting bulls. As you admire these incredible specimens, you'll learn about the unique traits that define fighting bulls are how they are raised free-range on extensive estates.

After visiting the farm, you'll head to the charming farmhouse to enjoy a traditional country lunch. You'll begin with cured Iberico ham accompanied by a glass of wine from the farm's own vineyards. Then, you'll sample a variety of local Manchego cheeses, spicy chorizo, olive oil and other delicacies, all made by hand directly on the farm.

After lunch, you'll return to Toledo where you'll have free time to continue exploring the city at your leisure. After the free time, you'll board the van and return to the center of Madrid.
