Virgin America is a popular American airline founded in 2004 which provides low-cost flights throughout the continental United States as well as to select tourist destinations in Mexico. Virgin America has its hub at San Francisco International Airport and is partnered with other Virgin-brand airlines. The Virgin America website is clean and modern and offers an incredibly straightforward flight booking tool which prompts flyers to enter only the number of passengers and the arrival and departure cities. The website also features clear buttons in the header to check in online and view the details of one's reservations (this section lets users see their itinerary as well as view options to change flights). There is also a smaller button in the header to access a flight tracker and view one's flight status entering only the date and cities of arrival and departure. While Virgin America does not offer a Business Class cabin as such, it does offer a Main Cabin Select option which gives passengers added legroom, in-flight Wi-fi, and priority boarding. The Virgin America website also offers information on the company's Elevate frequent flyer program which lets flyers accumulate points and redeem them for flights on Virgin, rooms at the Virgin hotel chain, or for goods at several other partner establishments.
Ciro Virgin Ameria is, you guessed it, the American face of Richard Branson's popular Virgin chain of air carriers. It's primarily seen as a “leisure carrier” in the States, better for those on family trips to the Caribbean than for those looking to get from A to B as cheap as possible or those flying on business (a fact that's evident in Virgin's lack of a Business Class). They do, however, offer a sort of Premium Economy class (dubbed “Main Cabin Select”) which is worth it on the longer flights. As always, Virgin remains at the forefront of in-flight perks and has on-demand Wi-Fi on most aircraft.Delete
