A beautiful place
Located in Comal County, Texas, this dam is not only a reservoir that supplies the surrounding populations, but a tourist attraction. Entrance is free, and here you can fish, go sailing, kayaking or boating. It's beautiful at any time of day, and in the spring and summer it's amazing to see how many people come down, most of them local to the area. The dam is fed by the Guadalupe River, and Canyon Lake is a Texas state park.
