This is the place with the highest concentration of jewellery stores in all of Dubai. There are more than 300 stores in addition to the 500 that are scattered throughout the city. With no tax, buying gold in Dubai is quite profitable and is much cheaper than elsewhere in the world. The souk is covered so it's quite nice to walk around here. It is open from 9am-1pm and 4pm-8pm except Friday morning.
