The Bragança bus station is at the end of Avenida João da Cruz, in the building of the old train station, which has been remodeled in 2004. Its exterior is striking, as they have retained some elements of the railway, integrating them into an open air railway museum and a park with gardens, walkways, banks, playground, fountains ... The head of this project was the architect Carlos Praça. Inside the building there: Waiting room, lockers for the sale of tickets, cafeteria, toilets ... Buses operate both short and long haul, to cities like Lamego, Porto, Lisbon, Chaves, Viseu, Braga, Coimbra, Vila Real and Viana do Castelo.
Lamego Bus Station is just behind the courthouse, next to the Handicraft Market. The building has a small coffee shop, waiting room, ticket office and information office. Outside are about 12 docks where the buses (both short and long distance) travel to cities like Bragança, Chaves, Castelo Branco, Coimbra, Fátima, Lisbon, Vila Real and Viseu.
