The Confectionery tunnel is something like the Rolls Royce of cafes in the province of Alicante. It is on Calle Sant Llorenç 34 in Alcoy, in the heart of the city and its facade is a blast. Whenever I have a celebration I go and buy some Tunnel cupcakes, they are delicious, handmade and very varied. They also have all kinds of cakes, from the most traditional to the most imaginative. Apparently I'm not the only one who likes to go here as on many weekends the queue comes out of the store.
Cinema and theatre food concessions often have limited quality products, focusing on the fast and simple. Well, here things are a bit different: the terrace is almost always full, whether it's breakfast time or afternoon coffee and ice cream. In Alicante there are many pubs open in summer, so the only way to compete is to offer top quality produce, as you see here ...
If you want to get online and listen to some music, in a good atmosphere and the best atmosphere, come over here. This little place is also in the old town of Altea, behind the main street, you can't miss it because it's super close. You'll have your internet connection and you might even meet someone there because this place is visited by lots of young people, so it's ideal for meeting people. It's in a little old house that's been renovated, on a corner of a beautiful street. Rarely do you get to have an internet cafe in a slightly older place, normally they're in modern or futuristic looking places. Not this one.
Mamella is the name of the bakery, and by that name they are known to those bakers, I must say that in Valencian mamella means "chest" or "breast", which is not very clear, because the name... This corner is pretty special to me, because apart from doing this for very many years, the owners are some beautiful people, who I personally have affection for. The bread is very good, but not the best thing, you must try the "chocolate bombs" a real pleasure for the senses, and a sin for hips .... If you come here, you really can not help but try them. Besides pastries, the bakery does many Santa Pola specialties, such as "coca mollitas", a real treat ...
This is a great spot for refreshment and to enjoy a nice view of the ocean. It is situated on the beach and you get the sense that the sea is right below you. From there you can see most of Benidorm and the island which is so famous. It is perfect for taking pictures of the sea, the beach and the island, and at the same time to relax enjoying the sound of the sea.
This charming corner located in the Plaza de Altea is called the Cefecito. It is a space for relaxing. They are open from the morning where they serve breakfast until night, where you can enjoy tapas or have a coffee. It is one of my favorite cafes in Altea. There is a little cafe inside where the decor is very chilled out and arty and an outdoor area with some tables that come together with the atmosphere of the Plaza. The decor follows the stylistic line of Altea, white colours, wood and art. I recommend you try their ice creams. It's an excellent spot to share with your friends and mingle with the locals. When I finish my cup of coffee, I leave and explore more places in the square - cafes, restaurants, clothing stores, decor, crafts, painting and textiles and home accessories places.
If you've been to Benidorm, you’ve almost certainly driven past this place and been captivated by their slices of pizza. For us, it is a must to visit every year. It is so conveniently located that you almost have to run into it when you are at the end of Jose Antonio Street toward the beach.
You have the option to eat your pizza on the terrace or in the dining area, and they also offer other products such as sandwiches, burgers, pastries, ice cream, etc.
A charming corner, for me the most beautiful cafe in Santa Pola. Decorated in the Arabian style, and every day you can enjoy a relaxed and pleasant experience, with Celtic music, jazz, techno ... all types of tea, coffee, and beer ... wifi and a quiet atmosphere. Recommended.
In the center of Orihuela you can replenish your strength because you can find different options which are hard to choose between because everything looks great. Highly recommend the pumpkin pie and the different types of aguja (a typical pastry filled with tuna, meat, vegetables...). The atmosphere is diverse, from young couples to grandparents with grandchildren.
