I lived in Foz de Iguazú a few years and with certainty the Confitera Jauense makes the best chicken leg with cheese from the three borders (Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina) tried by the majority of people visiting the city. This confectionery makes the best pies, crackers, and snacks in town. It has it's own parking, and a tea salon with 70 seats. Friends usually meet here to enjoy the delights, and chat in the evening.
You know those places where you can feel the affection in every detail? This is one of them. In a touristic city like Foz, the importance of an environment that unites culture and leisure is almost essential, but I didn't know I'd find it here. The Emporio com Arte café emerged out of an innovative proposal to encourage local and national Brazilian artists to work on the details from beautiful tableware, to rustic furniture that decorate the place - everything seems to have been handpicked. Several artists are invited to exhibit their work and best of all, all the work exhibited is for sale. The menu is varied slightly, but guarantees exotic and different combinations, taking quality to a select audience in a city that lacks this kind of place.
