This is the road that will lead you all the way to Laguna de la Cocha, which is an ancient indigenous lagoon located on the outskirts of Pasto, Colombia. It's an absolutely beautiful place and the houses that are there can be seen in the pictures, as well as the cavildos Indians, who are still vital and active. is great to be walking down the dirt road and know that all around the area there were thousands of indigenous men years ago and still they continue their descendants, of course the houses are renovated and attractive and have decorated the landscape with bright colors . It's the best of that trip, very beautiful.
Calima Lake is the largest artificial lake in Colombia, located 1480 meters above the sea. This was created as a hydroelectric dam but has become a great place for water sports such as jet skiing and other watersports. The truth is that the site offers beautiful scenery, including rolling hills, hundreds of flowers, and clouds so profound that they seem to touch the ground.
Finally, this is a perfect place to go to to relax for a weekend, or to enjoy a campfire with friends. The climate of this place is very nice and reaches around 20 º C, but after nightfall you may need a light jacket. Around Lake Calima there are many resort areas, such as chalets, hotels, and restaurants which offer great service to their guests.
This lagoon is located about 24 km from San Juan de Pasto, just the south of the foot of the Galeras volcano. Its has an average temperature of 9 ° C and a height of 4,000 meters above sea level. This is actually the mouth of the extinct Galeras volcano. In its time it was a site that was part of National Parks in Colombia, but given the number of tourists, it was closed for in order for the site to regenerate and allow for natural reconstruction. It is now restricted site, one where true silence exists. Given the height and distance from the metropolitan and rural center, the Laguna de la Coba Negra is the perfect place to enjoy the silence and reconnect with yourself.
Before coming to the inspection of the Prairie, going though from Subachoque, there is a bend to the left, and it begins to go up and up until you are deep in the wilderness. Gradually the road becomes more and more difficult, and narrow, suddenly, and within the clouds there appears a reflecting poolit is intact and immaculate, as if nobody had ever seen it. The enchanted Lagoon is surrounded by small hills and frailejones.

Tominé Reservoir is situated within the municipalities of Guatavita and Sesquilé, it is part of a network of reservoirs situated in the North of Bogota, which supply power to the capital and its neighboring towns. They also built a dam, and developed multiple activities including: Hiking, horseback riding, camping and water sports including sailing, kayaking and water skiing.
This area of Colombia, east of Bogotá, is flat, as the name implies. After coming down from the Villavicencio mountain range in Meta, you come across a huge plain, devoted to livestock and mining petrol ... There are few roads but I recommend visiting Menegua Lakes, a resort set beside a farm. The trip is worth it...
