The Impero pizzeria is an excellent pizzeria in the centre of Verona. It is located in the Piazza della Signoria, a bit away from the Piazza Bra, which is more poplar with tourists. the pizzeria is very popular with locals, and also fills up with tourists enjoying the outdoor tables in the summer.
It isn´t an exaggeration that Italians eat a lot of pizza. Here you can find pizza, pasta and a few other things. This lovely place is very romantic. Located next to the walls and close to Arena, the black-clad young waiters and the young customers also make this pizzeria located in the gardens a beautiful palace. The five cheese pizza and chilled prosecco were fantastic but the white chocolate truffle could have been better.
If you don't want to spend too much money, or just want a pizza instead of a real restaurant meal, then this pizzeria on the Piazza San Zeno is a great choice. It stands to the left to the church, along the tree-lined avenue, among other restaurants. Simple, genuine cuisine, an informal atmosphere, good prices ... the perfect destination for anyone who comes to visit the historic church, and wants some lunch while they're here.
Before going to Venice, I read in a blog where a traveler had randomly discovered a small pizzeria with easily the best pizza he'd ever had. I jotted down the name and set out searching. A pizza which was too big for my hands, with unpretentious ingredients which just aimed to be a good local pizza, nothing more. I can say that they were also the best pizzas I've ever had. I'd eat there every day
Considered by many to have the best pizza in town, the Marechiaro pizzeria will not disappoint - not just for the quality of the food, but also for the quality : price ratio, the friendly, fast service, and the relaxed atmosphere. It's right in the centre, and is a good spot for lunch or dinner with friends or family.
Steaks, and home delivery food to eat directly in the room: this is the offer of this pizzeria outside the walls of Padua. It doesn't have many tables, but the service is fast, and the pizza is good. The menu is varied, and the pizzas are named after cartoon characters they like, evidenced by the pictures on the walls!
The award-winning Renato Bosco has opened a new location in the historical center of Verona, in collaboration with the Cafe Coloniale. Its pizza is mythical to takeaway or eat on site, also breakfast, and some hot dishes. In summer, it's nice to sit outside.
All good! Not only is the pizza made in various ways: from traditional Neapolitan to those with different doughs for example, kamut. Also excellent meat and fish. Staff were very friendly. Just outside the city.
