Shopping Malls in Paris
Galeries Lafayette
(119)
This is a very glamorous department store that sells everything: leather goods, cosmetics, gourmet food, honeymoons, jewelry, toys, clothes, and more. It's incredibly well-decorated during Christmas time and it's where all the children come to look before they sit on Santa's lap. The Galeries Lafayette's most beautiful shop is in the center of Paris on Rue La Fayette. The shop Lille is on Rue Béthunes and is also very beautiful and large. The shopping center also has a Darty, which sells appliances and a Grande Recre, which is a children's shop. The Galeries Lafayette was built in 1892 and has been incredibly successful, even having opened stores in New York and Berlin. One advantage of shopping here is that non-EU visitors get a tax discount.

Galerie Vivienne
(5)
The Gallery Vivienne was built in the nineteenth century. It gives access to a gallery with shops, apartments and cafes. It reminded me of the Paris of yesteryear. I love this place, because it has a lot of charm and is far from the modern malls depersonalized.

Le Printemps
(2)
This is the original Printemps store, one of the first department stores around Paris in the mid-nineteenth century. It is a temple of fashion, one of the few that attracts many tourists. Today, there are 22 other Printemps stores that belong to the Pinault Printemps Redoute group. They even have a branch in Tokyo! Printemps is located on Boulevard Haussmann, one of the great avenues of Paris. It is located right next to the main Galeries Lafayette store. It has been in existence since 1865, when the neighborhood of Saint Lazare Station was almost deserted and the station just created. It boasts a great Art Nouveau dome with stained glass windows. Even during the war it was dismantled to preserve it.

Carrousel du Louvre Mall
(13)
The Carrousel du Louvre is a huge shopping mall that is located in the basement of the Louvre. Here you'll find all kinds of shops located in a really magical atmosphere. This place is also ideal for shopping, because it is found in a very special place with lots of history. I recommend that you experience this place.

Forum des Halles
(2)
The upper gardens are currently under construction, although the mall, in the basement, still works as well as the access to RER or Metro. The new project is shown on the fence surrounding the construction site, and aims to make a transparent cover over part of the square. However, it looks like the project isn't even scheduled to be finished until 2016.

Les Quatre Temps
(7)
It is said that this mall is the largest in the world. I think so. I am quite certain that you can buy anything and everything in this mall. There are many floors and on the floors, the stores are international. You will find: Zara, Carrefour, Fnac, Forum, McDonalds, Burger King, Sephora, Darty, Alcampo, Go Sport, Lacoste, Pull & Bear, Zara Home, Springfield, and many more. You can enter via many routes, and connections with the metro and RER are right there. A giant cinema is attached to the mall(accessed from the same mall. Tickets are somewhat expensive (about 9 € per release), but I have not been to another movie theater with an amphitheater so great, or that has been opened by Tom Cruise ... For shoppers, the Quatre Temps is a paradise but for those who do not enjoy it, be sure not to go on a Friday afternoon, and never a Friday in December!

Havre´s Passage
Conveniently located behind the most famous stores in Paris, Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. Among Metro stops Saint Lazare, Auber RER A and RER E Magenta, and it is easily accessible. A large Tesco, the main store, and then about 50 stores, including GAME, Claire's, Celio, Nature & Découverte ... On the ground floor there are a couple of cafes and a Haagen Dazs ice cream to eat after shopping. Caumartin the next street has more stores yet. Packed on Saturdays and during the sales, during the week, since there are many offices in the neighborhood of offices, people come at 5.

Italie 2 Shopping Centre
(3)
Italie 2 is the large shopping center which you can find in Italie Square, in the 13th district of Paris. It is a neighborhood that few tourists visit, but it's worth visiting even for Chinatown. Before the center it was called Galaxy. It is famous for its a huge cinema with one of the biggest screens in town, but when we came when it was closed. Inside, there are three levels of shops, and restaurants. Over 100 stores which feature both classic French and international brands. Occupies an entire block, and also has a small supermarket. Metro lines 6 and 7 take you from the city center. A communal point for students, there are several universities and schools around.
