Andalucía Square

The old town square of San Roque was formerly known as "La Parada", as it was the place that housed the first bus line and today it is the main taxi stand. In 1963, the director Carol Reed chose to film part of the movie "The price of death" there with Alan Bates and Lee Remick in the lead roles. The place is usually quite busy because as it is close to the gates of the Alameda Alfonso XI. From the square you can climb one of the most beautiful streets of San Roque, San Street Philip. The Holy Meeting on the evening of Holy Thursday also takes place here.
