Anse Source D'Argent

Anse Source d'Argent is located on the small island of La Digue and is among the most famous beaches in the Seychelles and even the world. I can safely say that it deserves its reputation. It's amazing...it's a huge lagoon with massive granite boulders shining in the sun...I'd never seen anything like it. Like all the beaches in the Seychelles, Source d'Argent is strongly influenced by the tides. When I went at low tide, the water was very low and you could snorkel in the surrounding reefs. By the afternoon, the water had risen considerably and the beach was practically empty. You can rent beach chairs and there are walking vendors who come by and sell fresh fruit.

Source d'Argent is on La Digue, the classic tropical destination in the Seychelles and probably the most beautiful island I've ever seen. The beach is known for its famous granite boulders and for being located in a natural park. Though you have to pay a little to enter, the views from inside are more than worth it. Enjoy!
