Archaeological Museum

The archeological Museum (Nuoro) collects fossil objects and remains from Mount Tattavista. The collection focuses mainly on the bones and skulls of Plio-Pleistoceno mammals. Within the museum exhibit rooms you can see many different Neolithic materials and it is very diverse. Exhibits on display include jewelry, shells, amber, bronze statues and objects from the nuragica period, especially those used in traditional funerals.
