Spacious and comfortable
During our tour of Flanders and Brussels, we decided to establish base camp here, as it's the city with the best train connections to the rest of Belgium. As such, we looked for a hotel near the Central Station, to allow us easily access to the rail network. Aris Hotel fit the bill, located in the heart of the Belgian capital, just two minutes from the Grote Markt. We organised the trip so that each morning, we could catch a train to visit a different city, returning to Brussels in the afternoon with time to rest a little and take a shower in the hotel before having dinner in the centre.
Despite the numerous days of traveling, tiredness, etc, our organisation and the great location of this hotel meant that we could do everything we'd planned, and we didn't have to worry about sleeping every night in a different hotel.
