Bear Creek Provincial Park

Situated on the West Side of Okanagan Lake about 30 minutes outside of Kelowna, Bear Creek Provincial Park boasts over 5km of recreational hiking trails, more than 400 metres of sandy beach, a full-service campground and a stunning canyon carved out by Bear Creek itself. Whether you're camping for a week or just visiting for an afternoon, Bear Creek is a beautiful place to spend a part or all of your Okanagan Vacation. Since I lived in Kelowna, I have only ever experienced the hiking trails of Bear Creek. The trails provide incredible views of the lake and a decent workout, although anybody with a moderate amount of physical ability should be able to enjoy the trails.
