Black Rafting Waitomo Caves

Black Water Rafting in Te with the Anaroa Cave Cave World company (NZ $ 82.50). They gave us a wet suit and helmet with a light. After training a little with all straight and like a train, we took some underwater camaras and began the descent down the river inside the caves. At one point in the cave, it began to widen and when we were in the center, the camera turned out the light on the helmets. Suddenly, the roof of the cave appeared as if it were a starry night. Fireflies (gloworms), appeared on the walls of the cave, lit up like stars. These larvae produce light in the dark in order to attract small insects which they feed on.
