Blinkbonnie hotel

The Blinkbonnie is a simple but nice hotel in the heights of Kandy, 20 minutes walk from the heart of the city. A tuk tuk will take you for one euro from the center, and it really is worth it because you get away from all the excitement of the city. There are very good views as the hotel is situated on a hill and you have a terrace where you can have breakfast and dinner in the middle of a tropical garden. There are nine rooms, all with different prices depending on whether or not they have a shared bathroom, views and the size. Rooms cost between 18 and $ 20 per night. Some are air conditioned but at this point it is not worth more than a few days a year.
