Try chese at a height of 2000 meters


This is one of those wonderfully unique places that you do not expect to find at an altitude of almost two thousand meters. It is situated at the top of one of the multiple passes of the Pyrenees on the French side, just a couple of kilometers away from the Train Station of Arette. It is like a place from a story, it follows a curve on a small flat plain, steaming, whose sole inhabitant is a young French man who makes his own artisan cheese from sheep / goat which you can try and take home with you, or just ask him to make you a sandwich to continue on your way along the mountain route.
