Café Rouge

Cafe Rouge is a chain restaurant that serves French food in the UK. Brighton's restaurant has a small terrace for sunny days, but it is on a street where many people pass and is not always comfortable. The menu is in French and below is the English explanation. Typical dishes include roast beef, boeuf bourguignon, duck with orange sauce ... and regional cuisine of Brittany, south of Provence ... Entries seemed very small for what they charge. But in the end we were full, so it was probably a fair share. The second course cost between 10 and 15 pounds, salads are served noon. We followed with a bottle of wine, which was expensive! At least three times the supermarket price, starting at £15.
