Calvario Hermitage

The Calvario chapel is located near the town over a hill, at the entrance of the town if you come from La Jana.

It is always a pity to see a monument in ruins. It is constructed in masonry and angular stones. It has a masonry façade. It doesn’t have a tower or belfry.

The exterior is formed by a central cupola with a dodecagonal shape, and the exterior apse is polygonal.

The interior has a nave and the supports are half pilasters that sustain round arches in the nave. The interior roof is formed by a cupola. In the main cupola, the roof is formed by a barrel vault. The decoration is has a plaster covering and painted.
