    A great place

    Mather Campground is very near the Grand Canyon, in the same national park. It has all the necessary facilities: clean showers, drinking water, laundry... You are also right next to the park's supermarket in Grand Canyon Village. It takes only a few minutes to get to the Grand Canyon to admire the sunset or the sunrise: Magical! In short, this is a very decent site if you are looking for a less expensive accommodation. This campground is perfect place to spend the night before continuing on your journey. It is shaded by pine trees, and many squirrels come to visit. A great place, especially for stargazing in the summer.
