Casa Marcos

Booked this restaurant based on recommendation. When we first arrived we couldn’t find the door into the restaurant. It was pointed out by a miserable man at the restaurant who come out of the door pointed to the entrance sign and then went back inside the restaurant closing the door behind him. We entered the restaurant which was virtually empty and approached the same man (there was no greeting) who asked our name and had we got a reservation. He was not warm or welcoming. We provided our name and confirmed we had a reservation. He then spoke to another member of staff who couldn’t find our booking under the name given.

The restaurant Casa Marcos must be visited if you are in La Oliva. They offer local gastronomy. It is a tapas restaurant.

The chef, Marcos, constantly changes the menu and he serves exquisite dishes. Good meat and peculiar dishes such as “huevos amarrados”, (“tied eggs”), very good wine and desserts in a pleasant atmosphere. It has a rustic decoration, a big terrace and the staff is kind.

A must.

It is a good restaurant, a good value for money, with local dishes of good quality, the staff is very kind and they offer a variety of desserts, I recommend it!

It has a parking lot and it is located in VIllaverde, near Corralejo (Fuerteventura).
