Casa Mathilde - Doçaria

These days, I discovered this candy store right in the city centre of So Paulo, in Antonio Prado square. Actually the correct terminology is "Sweet" as Casa Matilde offers very traditional Portuguese cakes. It relates to Mathilde Queijadas Factory founded in the year 1850 in Sintra, Portugal. It offers handcrafted and traditional manufacturing of Queijadinha famous Portuguese sweet like the cream pie, pillow, among others. The site has a very modern and cozy decor. Upstairs, you can get a view of the beautiful Largo Antonio Prado, so if you are doing a tour of the historical center of the city of So Paulo, or just passing through, it's worth knowing.
