Chai Pepette Restaurant

This small restaurant in Sainte-Marie de Ré was something we discovered on our journey through the Ile de Ré. Its small size made us stop and take notice because it really stood out from the rest of the restaurants in Poitou-Charentes. The fish are in the form of delicious sauce cooked with salted butter and seafood of all sizes and with a freshness that's second to none. The place has real charm, especially if you want something more than the typical tourist restaurant. The quality of the food is quite good and the price is not bad.
