Worth a visit
The city of Medellin is known for its flower festival in late July - early August, but it's also worth visiting in December, to admire the Christmas decorations. The lights of the city are a source of great pride (in fact, this is quite controversial, when you consider the number of homeless people in Colombia), and every year there are new innovations. Plenty of people come for a weekend just to see the lights.
