Chungking Mansions

The Chungking Mansions is a 16 storey building, located in the main shopping district of Kwoloon, on Nathan Road. It is one of the best places where you can find cheap accommodation in Hong Kong because there could be more than 15 hostels spread between 4 lifts, with security guard in order to control the order of thhe queue of people entering, running through the building. The higher the hostel, the cheaper the price. I stayed on the 16th floor (the top floor), at the Traveler Hostel, a kind of traveler madhouse with people who had been living in a shared room. It´s worth going up just to see it.
