A popular spot to meet
The city's opera was built here in 1780. It is accessible by tram, and marks the start of a pedestrian zone with shops and restaurants. In 1756, a fire destroyed the previous theatre, so the new one had to be built. The square is arranged around the opera house, but there are also a couple of restaurants and a luxury hotel. A popular meeting spot - don't go by car, as it's hard to find parking around the area.
