Dune of Pilat

At first, you tremble at the dune's height, then you prepare yourself to ascend; third, you take three steps and debate if you should take the next ones; fourth, you laugh at yourself at not being able to climb up; fifth, you stand halfway up several times to look down; sixth, you look up to see what you have left to go; and seventh, you reach the top and tremble at the views; eighth, you realize how easy it is to climb down!

The Dune du Pyla is colossal. Its height is 118 meters. It's 2,700 meters long and 500 meters wide at the base.

One of my favorite places in the world!! The best is to go up there by foot and to run down to the bottom ahaha.. It is a pretty wild and beautiful place! You can also have some sandsurfing, paragliding, resting eating, drinking with friends there is even an amazing restaurant called la co(o)rinche !! Go there at sunset or sunrise and see the amazing view on the forest and the ocean!!
