The Mercure Eastgate is installed in a building of the 17th century. Before it was an inn, it was a hostel for travelers and horses with the first floor for the restaurant and the stable for the animals. It is now a luxury hotel with 63 rooms, all equipped with private bathroom. There is a very good restaurant, and the location is ideal for exploring the city on foot. The car can be left in a small parking area. High street, the main street of the city, is a five minute walk away, but it is a quiet street, surrounded by two prestigious universities. There is a reception room, and internet access.
