El Tonel Beach

The Tonel beach in Sagres is in the eastern part of town, looking at Sagres Point and Cape St. Vincent. This beach can also be seen from the fortress of Sagres. It has all the typical services of beaches, such as lifeguards in summer and a cafeteria. It's suitable for sunbathing when there's no wind, because in that area the wind often blows hard.
