The Monaco train station is located in the city centre, more or less equal distance from the casino, the oceanarium, and the Grimaldi Palace. It's a good place to start a tour of the city. The station is fairly new, having been opened in 1999. It's underground, and everything is in good condition. Trains to Nice leave about every half hour.
