You can't visit a destination without trying some of the local cuisine, right? Well, if you're in Curitiba, you'll want to try some of the delicacies. For us, this was the best restaurant, serving authentic cuisine, including barreado. After your trip to the fair, you can cross the street and you'll find this dish - which needs about 20 hours to prepare. I was baffled because I didn't know what to expect, but it's a meat dish cooked for several days in a clay pot, served with rice, cassava flour, and fried bananas. The food is very simple, but rich in history. The staff are friendly. Barreado for
