Faubourg Marigny

Located in the east of the French Quarter of New Orleans not far from the historic center, Marigny Faubourg is one of the most surprising and friendly districts in the city. Pretty affected by Katrina, it was rebuilt and is gradually becoming a new neighborhood again. It's quite chic and gay-friendly too! It reminded me a little of East Village in New York. We enjoyed wandering around and seeing the original façades and most remarkable architecture.
