Worth a visit
This fort was built by the Portuguese in 1737 to monitor the beaches of Cacimba do Padre and Sancho, characterized as "sea-from-within." Nowadays its the most distant point to which you can reach the hiking path of Sancho looking out to dos Porcos bay. I personally enjoyed the wildlife of Mocós (a type of rodent that resembles a squirrel) and birds.
