It's difficult to find a guide in Spanish, so I recommend Natalia from visitacolonia.info as it's the best way to see the city. We took a private tour guide who told us not only about the monuments and the history that we wouldn't have seen or understood if we'd gone alone, but also fun things and about the personality of the people. She stuck to small streets that we would never have seen and we entered breweries to see Roman remains and try typical things (things that we didn't know about and that weren't in the guidebooks).
