To round off the spectacular welcome, there was a big surprise in the hotel lobby. I ended up sitting next to HariSingh while all the other guests, the most influential men of the village, sat on the floor with their legs crossed in silence. As a welcome, I was asked to say a few words to the audience. OMG where was I?! I said some words that were later translated into Hindi by my amiable friend HariSingh. The reception was so long that I almost nodded off while listening to HariSingh field guests' questions. Very opportunely, he invited me to rest in what would be my quarters. A real surprise
