Pleasant surprise
It was absolutely a surprise to discover Puglia. We only went because it is close to Bari airport and we wanted to eat in a nearby town but didn't have much time and we discovered a city that was at least worth a walk. You can visit the cathedral from the 12th-13th centuries which is dedicated to S. Valentino, the Chiesa di S. Francesco d'Assisi in the Piazza Minerva, with a Gothic portal of the 16th century, the modern Santuario di Cosma e Damiano and more things that you will just have to discover for yourself.
