    Sleep in a hammock

    In Guajira you can either sleep in a hammock, or in a Cabo de la Vela hostel, although, to say that the accommodation of Cabo de la Vela is a hostel is stretching it. They are really hostels that offer hammocks under a thatched roof on the beach. The bathrooms are very basic and if you want to take a bath with fresh water you have to do it from 'a bucket'. Cabo de la Vela has several sites that offer hammocks.
